God told me that you are an asshole!
Preacher: God told him about storms, tsunami
This guys is crazy, and I pretty much think he is a fucking idiot, but what if he is right about this? Now I do not think he is at all, but what if a huge ass storm/tsunami comes crashing down on the northwest?
If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of AmericaSome part of me would think that he would then call himself a prophet of God and we would never hear the end of him! He would claim that everything he has been saying is true for all of time, and that everyone is going to hell. The problem with this, is I believe a lot of people might actually believe him. So we can say, if a huge ass storm rips apart the Northwest US there will be 100 times the amount of anti-gay Christians, and that is just the beginning. Talk about a snowball effect just because of some random weather!
will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, "There
well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest.
It actually is a pretty smart move, if you organization is going down the shitter, and you public image is going down the shitter as well. What do you do? Say God talked to you and then if it happens, you just saved yourself. So now it is time to pray that bad weather does not happen in the Northwest, not because we believe Pat Robertson, but because we would like Pat Robertson to fade away forever.
I wonder how many people at this moment are actually believing him...?

Lets think through the statements of the esteemed Pat Robertson:
Scientists have said that a tsunami is likely in the Northwest, do to some subduction zone nearby. I think the Discovery Channel has had some specials on this.
We are approaching hurricane season, and hurricanes hit coastlines. Combined with Bush not signing Kyoto, the current administration has unilaterally caused ocean temperatures to rise in the past 5 years, dooming US towns and resorts to a pandemic of Category 5 storms.
What Robertson has said is nothing new, he is just claiming God told him already predicted weather events will happen in the next 7 months.
PS: Note the sarcasm of paragraph 3
