How to go to a Winery

Mount Pleasant Winery

Lisa and I went to Mount Pleasant Winery on Saturday and it was awesome!! Lisa almost got car sick before we got there, but she recovered from the drive (which was like a roller coaster ride in the hills of Missouri) and we had great weather, a lot of great wine, and a great time. It was very romantic and a much needed break from everything. There are a lot of different people who go to wineries and there are rules for how to go to wineries for different people.

For young couples: (Lisa and Jon) You must go, take a tour, taste all the wine, and then as you are either drunk, or almost drunk sit together on a ridge overlooking the vineyard and tell talk about love and the future.

For older couples: Walk past the tour of the place, walk past the tasting booth, buy a bottle of wine, drink, buy another bottle, drink, and proceed to be loud for the rest of the time.

College students: Come in a bus with about 20 other students, take the tour, and sit at the tasting booth for 3 hours until you piss yourself.

For women in their late 20's: Dress up like you are going clubbing Take a limo, take a picnic basket, buy a lot of wine for you and your friends and get drunk.

Going to a winery is awesome no matter who you are! There are a lot of different types of people with one goal, drink wine and forget about everything else until you have to leave. It is the making of a perfect day!
