The Inner Slut...

Girls warned not to 'go wild' on Spring Break

Here is the summary of the AMA survey on girls on spring break. Drinking will make you a slut. So what is the real issue here? Everyone knows what goes on during spring break. Girls go to warm places and go wild for one week, then come back and act like they never did anything. This makes me wonder...

Does every girl have an inner slut?

Women's sexuality is so suppressed in the U.S. that that they just explode on spring break! All guys know this, the more drinks that you give the girls, the more the inner slut comes out. Is there anything wrong with the inner slut? I do not think so, but I do not think girls should be ashamed of this unknown force that is only brought out by drinking. Everyone knows that engaging in large group sexual behavior could be very dangerous, but still every year it happens. There is some definite attention reinforcement that plays into this. The more your inner slut comes out the more attention that you receive. So all women reading this are wondering how often does my inner slut come out? HMMM... I say embrace this force within you and have fun, but always use your inner slut safely. Unchecked it could hurt a lot of mens egos...

So the moral of the story is: girls, don't be afraid of being a sexual creature, but you still must keep it in check so you don't hurt MEN'S egos!? Please, the last thing a beautiful female creature needs to worry about is a guy's ego. Lets have a new article about man-whores (or man-sluts since you love that word so much), double standards, and men preying on the fact that female sexuality is so repressed. My concern is and always will be for the female's ego, because of the shit it gets put through constantly.

What was that line from the Breakfast Club? "if you say you haven't, you're a prude. If you say you have you're a slut. It's a trap." Women who sleep around are sluts, men are studs? I know that's not what you're saying, Jon, it just tends to be what society says. We can put a man on the moon & bring him home safely, but we can't come up with a birth control pill that's 100% effective? No thanks, I'm not protecting anyone's ego but my own ;-)

Missing my point alert!!!

I am sorry if i am hard to understand at times. What I was trying to say by using that terrible joke, is that I believe that women's sexuality is incredibly powerful, and is not recognized as that in a mans world. So my joke was that women are just keeping their sexuality in check because men cannot handle the truth. Hopefully that is a little more clear.

I know what you're trying to say, silly; my frustration is with what the patriarchy as a whole is saying -- that warnings from that "report" could probably apply to guys as well -- don't overdo it with the alcohol & practice safe sex.
