Ann Coulter to audience: You're stupider than I am
In the mature fashion that she is known for, her republican ass decided to call the students she was speaking to names. I do not feel bad about her having to stop her speech because of protests. She is as ignorant as the racists who interrupted Morris Dees when he was at my school.

Once again I called her ignorant not a racist. I believe she is a racist anyway but we can talk about that later.
People who refuse to see the other side are ignorant. Racists like the ones who hate Morris Dees are ignorant. Ann Coulter is ignorant for that reason. I am sure that there are a lot of ignorant democrats, but I am not talking about them. I am talking about ANN COULTER!! Who is an IGNORANT REPUBLICAN!!!

I particularly loved this response of hers: One student asked what she would do if she had a child who came out as gay.
Coulter replied: "I'd say, `Did I ever tell you you're adopted?'"
I agree I was being to nice. Then again, we have the PC patrol Brian looking over everything we write!
Brian, she respects nobody who is not as conservative as her. All she is good for is a sound bite or two. Her whole MO is to insult people. That is how she gets paid. This is why I do not like her. I am not asking for a democrat to step up and act like her at all! She is just plain nasty. You are out of your element if you think I am upset that she insulted those people. I am not upset, and I am surpised. Not being PC does not mean being ignorant. What postion does she even have? Democrats are evil. OK she really defended that well. Stupidheads!!!
It would be nice if someone on our side would stand up like Ann Coulter and refuse to be shouted down, yes--but only if that person would do so because he or she was RIGHT and had the courage of convictions.
That's not what allows Coulter to carry on with her bitchcraft no matter how the audience cackles at her. (I doubt she even understands the concept of right and wrong.) It's the knowledge that no matter what she says or does, how innaccurate or foul-mouthed or downright rude she is, she'll always have a home with the Republicans, and Fox News, as long as she holds true to the bullshit party line. (And keeps her blonde hair and rail-thin figure.) She's a saint to them because she never deviates, never speaks against her fellow ignoramuses.
The trouble with our side is that it consists of people who think, and who have considered opinions that may deviate once in a while. So while Coulter and friends can just keep marching in lock-step, we spend our time squabbling not over the lies Bush is telling or the bogus war we're fighting, but the appropriate words with which to denounce them. And the other side knows it!
We're sitting here and arguing about the methods used to denounce someone (whether Coulter or Bush) who we all agree deserves to be denounced. Republicans would have eviscerated the liberal equivalent by now, and that wouldn't have debated how--they'd have thrown everything and the kitchen sink at her. This contrast may make us better people than they are, but it also makes us very ineffective in today's political climate.
So Brian may be right--maybe we do need to stand up like Ann and speak our minds, whether it's PC or not.
To that end, I for one think Ann Coulter is a lying cunt!
