Bingeing

What do you do when there is a heat index over 100 degrees in Saint Louis and you have your friends from Chicago here?... You go on a 12 hour video game and drinking binge. Lauren and Lisa did a very good job handling the fact that all we did was play video games, eat, and drink. At first we went to the zoo to visit Lisa and eat lunch with her. However it was too hot to walk around the zoo, so returning to the house we fired up the Xbox 360 and played call of duty for hours until dinner.

Lisa came by and we went to dinner, and after coming back fro dinner, the gaming and drinking continued until 4 in the morning. Switching off between Call of Duty and Super Smash Brother, it was one of the best nerd times of my life. However playing video games for half the day with guys who have a history of competition with each other has a lot of drama associated with it.

To give a brief review of how each one of us played:

Paul: Over all good at Call of Duty. However, does not understand the concept of team play. Becomes lost in his own world while teammate dies attempting to defend the base. Becomes very hungry while drunk and leaves in the middle of the game in order to eat. During Smash Brothers, Paul is very good at at staying alive while not really knowing what he is doing.

Johnny: Excellent team player in call of duty. Will yell at you if you are not playing up to his level. Does not like losing to Jon in anything. However loses often to Jon in call of duty. Is equal in skill to Jim in Smash Brothers while not drunk. Will demand satifaction if insulted at 3:30 in the morning.

Jim: While not drinking, kicks everyone's ass in every game. Likes to start fights between other players and then watch. Very good at Call of Duty, and even better at Smash Brothers. Talks a lot of shit and can back it up. Jim was not drinking as much and took advantage of this during most of the night.

Jon: Overall best at Call of Duty because he owns the game. Overall biggest bitch in Smash Brothers using Pikachu's bitch move. This annoys Johnny while drunk. Talks a lot of shit in Smash Brothers and cannot back it up, this also annoys Johnny.

I had a really good time with all of these guys, and I proud of us that we did not kill each other for real during that time period. I really miss those guys, but something tells me if we were to do that a lot, it think we would never talk to each other again.

I like the play-by-play commentary. It's like I was there . . .
